Kirscht, Wagner to Address Operations, Recruiting Issues at Separate Events

Alexandria, Minn. – April 4, 2011 –Donnelly Custom Manufacturing Company President Ron Kirscht and Director of Advanced Manufacturing Sam Wagner will participate in two April events focused on business management and recruiting issues.

Kirscht will serve as a Discussion Leader at an Operations Forum geared toward senior and mid-level managers on operations and process flow from April 4-6 at the Anderson Center in St. Cloud, MN. Wagner will participate in the Job Seeker Counselor Conference April 8 at the Arrowwood Resort & Conference Center in Alexandria.

Operations Forum

At the Anderson Center, Kirscht will guide discussion participants through lessons and real-world examples focused on aligning cost and process with corporate strategy. Participants will come away prepared to define, evaluate and improve the planning, production and supply chain processes of their business.

Kirscht recently earned certification as a discussion leader at the Anderson Center, which provides management and business development services to the Greater Minnesota area with the ultimate goal of facilitating growth and economic prosperity.

Job Seeker Counselor Conference

At the Arrowwood Resort, Wagner will address a group of counselors who work one-on-one with job seekers looking for entry-level and middle-skill technical, production, engineering and supervisory positions in manufacturing. The objective of the conference is to provide insight and a professional development opportunity to those who support job seekers and help them to better understand needs from the perspective of those who are hiring.

Wagner and other presenters will discuss what they look for in a candidate and describe the types of jobs in the industry. The event also will promote a new website, www.MnManufacturingCareers.org, designed to help potential employees find information on careers, classes, certifications, wages and jobs in manufacturing.
