For Immediate Release Diebold Recognizes Donnelly for World-class Performance in Cost Reduction, CustomerSatisfaction, On-time Delivery and New Product Introductions Alexandria, Minn. (11/18/02)—Diebold, Inc. a global leader in integrated self-service delivery systems and services, has recognized Donnelly Custom Manufacturing Company for world-class performance in a number of key service areas. Areas include cost reduction, customer satisfaction, on-time delivery and new product introductions. Donnelly is a plastics-injection molding company that specializes in short-run, close tolerance custom manufacturing. It received recognition as part of DieboldÍs annual Supplier Certification Program, which differentiates suppliers as part of its continuous improvement process. The program ranks suppliers in bronze, silver, gold and platinum categories based on core and non-core performance criteria. Donnelly received a platinum award for cost reduction, as well as a gold ranking for on-time delivery, two of DieboldÍs core performance criteria. It also received a gold ranking for performance in customer satisfaction and new product introductions, two of DieboldÍs non-core areas. According to Patrick Turner, Materials Manager at Diebold's Lexington, North Carolina facility, DonnellyÍs recognition is well deserved. "We are very happy with Donnelly's performance. They provide quick turn-around on requests, fill orders accurately and deliver them on-time."
